Killerwhales kick off the season in style!


Killerwhales started the new season with a terrific showing at Bishop Stortford SC’s meet at Braintree last weekend.

Danielle Rooke bagged 3 Gold’s, 2 Silvers and a bronze. Kieran Goodwin produced the swim of the weekend taking 12 seconds off his personal best in winning the 200m Freestyle and also won a further Gold and 3 Silver medals. Charlie Fox  also excelled with 2 Gold’s, 1 Silver and 1 Bronze.

Many other swimmers medalled over the weekend, Lianne and Mikela Kennedy, Abbie Hill, Georgia Shaw and Julia Braybrooke from the Girls squad. James Roome, George Crow and Alex Merchan for the Boys.

Abbie Hill and Rebecca Green achieved their first County Championship times.  

Also in the girls squad many PB’s were gained by Claudia Stratford, Zoe and Nicole Pullen, and Rebecca Whyman.

The Boys weren’t to be outdone and there were PB’s for Aiden and Daniel Robinson, Matthew Alexander, Jake Marshall, Toby Andrews and Tom Skingsley who managed to get two County times.
